Staying connected

1998 - 2018

I first met Grania probably around 20 years ago in the Pedestrians. I remember so clearly being introduced to this fabulous woman and both of us being surprised that we hadn't met before. I knew Josh through gigs and work in Brighton. We became friends because Grania simply made friends. Such a force of nature in all things.  When I moved from Brighton she always kept in touch. When she visited the Isle of Wight with Josh, Arthur and George they would always make time to come and see us regardless of poorly children/hectic work schedules and she'd dream of owning a cafe in Steephill Cove someday - and then we'd laugh at the crazy sale price. I will always think of Grania when I visit Steephill for crab pasties and look at the sea.  And I will remember how much it meant to me that she kept in touch and that we touched base, not often enough, but enough to stay connected.  Love always to you dear soul. And there'll always be a space in our corner of the island for your boys xxx
